WHY
Network Leaders (NLs) represent a crucial and strategic EQ community for Six Seconds that connects and drives those engaged people who want to be a part of the non-profit vision to have 1 billion people practicing emotional intelligence.
Network Leaders advance the Six Seconds’ mission through Advocacy, Fundraising, and Service projects.
Six Seconds current impact focus for the network is YOUTH WELLBEING, so that all young people have access to skills and tools to support their wellbeing. (please read the Six Seconds Impact Strategy).
Our key initiatives include:
EQ POP-UP Festivals (here): Interactive events to teach emotional intelligence through playful educational activities
Climate of Emotions (here): Youth leadership accelerator supporting young leaders to have better mental wellbeing and sustainability
EQ methods and tools: Embedding emotional intelligence skills in programs using Six Seconds’ 164 hours of curriculum/content including EQ Cafés, 9 psychometric assessments, and 16 certification training for people working with youth.
WHAT
As per the above, Network Leaders will contribute to the 1 billion vision and drive social impact by volunteering in service projects and supporting fundraising. They will
lead one or more POP-UP Festivals during the year (and/or)
take part to the Climate of Emotions/ COE accelerator program as mentors (and/or)
implement capacity building actions for youth leaders in agreement with their coordinators (and/or)
join Annual Global Giving Campaign
host EQ cafes for the general public (please see the appendix below to learn how to run these EQ workshops) to develop people’s skills with emotional intelligence to better support youth wellbeing.
HOW
NLs are equipped by Six Seconds to be DRIVERS and implement actions for social impact as mentors, facilitators, fundraisers.
