Certification License and Gold Membership (using Six Seconds' materials)

On completing your certification, you will be able to use Six Seconds' intellectual property (IP) and materials with others in your personal capacity as long as you are an "active" member. Examples of this IP include the models, activities, processes you experienced in certification. To remain active and current, you are required to renew your certification every year; read about certification renewal here.
If you wish to go beyond personal use and fully benefit from our methods and services:
Purchase an annual "Gold License" to use the materials from your cert in your training/teaching. This includes access to a special folder of slides & invitations for EQ Pros.
If you’re using the above within your organization (eg as a learning team in a company), request an organizational membership license (staff@6seconds.org)
To have use the branding as a company, apply to become a Six Seconds Partner to co-brand your work and co-develop new methods and tools built on Six Seconds' platform. This allows your company/organization to use the tools and brand.
This applies to Six Seconds methods and intellectual property that is not purchased on a per-person basis. Using products such as SEI or EQ Gym Workbook do not require an additional paid license (though we recommend it so you can go beyond the product itself).

Completing the requirements of a Six Seconds Certification conveys certain rights and responsibilities. You become licensed to use some of Six Seconds’ intellectual property, a resource that’s been developed for many years and with considerable expense and contributions from many people around the world.
Just as reading a book does not mean you own that author’s ideas, attending a course does not give you any ownership of the course materials; instead, this license gives you permission to use some of Six Seconds’ materials so long as you follow the certification license agreement, including using the materials in the manner which they are designed.
This license permits you to use these materials in an appropriate manner, but it does not make them yours.
In accepting this role, you take responsibility for both properly sharing this material – and also safeguarding this property.
By completing the certification requirements, you also become licensed to represent yourself as a Six Seconds Certified and use a special Six Seconds logo for this purpose. This means the reputation of Six Seconds becomes partly your responsibility. This is why the license must be renewed every year; part of that renewal is ensuring you are staying current and up-to-date with Six Seconds’ materials.
