The SEI and the Brain Profiles are more connected than you think.

We get this question often from people who are certified in both assessment tools.

The Brain Profiles and SEI models are both derived from the SEI assessment, but they follow DIFFERENT algorithms.

The Brain Profiles scales , (Focus, Decisions, and Drive (FDD) somewhat mirror the life three pursuits on the SEI of SEI  (Know, Choose, Give (KCG):

Focus gets us data, which helps us Know... Decisions allows us to assess, which helps us Choose... Drive give us energy, which helps us Give.

...

From a mathematical point of view, the KCG and FDD Brain Profile models are NOT the same -- you may find that the scores and preferences do not match. For your understanding, the FDD Brain Profile scales are more connected to the "strands" we discuss on debriefing the SEI.

If you are looking for an introductory 1 page report (level A) report that matches the SEI model (KCG), we recommend using the UEQ profile which 100% matches the the scores and the model utilized in the Leadership Report and Development Report. (The Brain Profiles model is only "related.")
